Hosting and Content Delivery Network (CDN)
External Hosting via Dorik (AWS & DigitalOcean) Our website is hosted by the external service provider Dorik Inc. (3705 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90019, USA). To provide a secure and fast online experience, Dorik utilizes the infrastructure of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and DigitalOcean. These servers are located, among other places, in the USA (e.g., Ohio and New York). The personal data collected on this website is stored on these servers. This may include, but is not limited to, IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website access, and other data generated through a website.
The use of Dorik and its sub-processors is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR due to our legitimate interest in a reliable, fast, and secure presentation of our online offer. Furthermore, the processing is carried out to fulfill our contractual obligations to our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR). Since data is transferred to the USA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and the adequacy decision for the USA (Data Privacy Framework), ensuring that the data protection level complies with EU standards.
Use of BunnyCDN To ensure short loading times and high availability of our content worldwide, we use the Content Delivery Network (CDN) BunnyCDN, operated by BunnyWay d.o.o. (Cesta komandanta Staneta 4, 1215 Medvode, Slovenia). A CDN is a network of regionally distributed servers that delivers content (such as graphics, scripts, and fonts) to you from a server geographically closest to your location. The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the stability and functionality of our website. BunnyWay d.o.o. is located within the EU, ensuring compliance with European data protection regulations.
